Chelsea Aguiar is the founder of Athaya Fitness, a trainer at Solace New York, and one of the newest Wilhemina fitness models! You may remember her from an interview we did with her. This boss babe is cute as a button and an inspiration for us all. Read on to learn more about Chelsea and how she styles our white t-shirt dress with her own twist.
AM: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your typical day?
CA: I am a personal trainer, fitness model, and BODY instructor at Solace New York. I start training clients and teaching classes at 6:30am. I spend my afternoons running to castings, squeezing in fitness classes and workouts, or working from my computer at a coffee shop. In the evenings I’m back in the gym or studio training and teaching until 7 or 8pm, then home to cook, read a book, or veg out on the couch with my dog. Like most fitness professionals in NYC I am constantly on the go, lugging my “mobile office” in an enormous backpack, and rotating through my various outfit changes of the day.
AM: Tell us about this outfit! Which pieces did you pair your AM gear with, and why?
CA: I am a huge fan of the Dorchester T-Shirt Dress! You can never go wrong with a classic white tee, and this dress is no different! I can throw it on after yoga or a workout with some cool kicks, my favorite necklace and have a cute and comfy alternative to my usual leggings 24/7.
I paired this dress with my favorite sneakers of the moment, the Adidas Pureboost, and some simple jewelry. I like to keep it clean, simple, comfy, and cute.
AM: Where are 3 places you’d wear this outfit?
CA: Post yoga brunch with friends, on my way to a photo shoot, or paired with my Yankee hat and pretzel at a game!
AM: What do you love most about your new AM piece?
CA: The fit and feel of the fabric. Its lightweight, soft and washes well. It makes me feel like I’m lounging at home but look like I dressed to take on the city!
AM: How would you describe your style in two words?
CA: Tomboy cool
AM: If you were deserted on an island, what one item would you want with you?
CA: Peanut butter
AM: Favorite sinful treat food?
CA: I have a serious weakness for French fries.
AM: Prints or plains to work out in?
CA: Depends on the mood, but I feel its essential to have a good mix of both!
AM: One place in the world you would love to visit?
CA: Ankor Watt!

CA: Currently: Barracuda – Heart
